1. Role Overview
Mercor is seeking financial analysis experts to collaborate on a high-impact project focused on corporate, market, and fund-level synthesis. This contract opportunity involves reviewing financial statements and strategy documents to evaluate company performance and positioning. 2. Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze company financial statements and disclosures
- Cross-reference narrative sections (e.g., Management Discussion) with quantitative data
- Calculate key financial metrics such as YoY revenue growth
- Identify and explain the primary drivers of financial performance
- Deliver concise written analyses aligned with AI training goals
3. Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, or consulting
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and accounting principles
- Expertise in interpreting 10-K/10-Q filings and MD&A sections
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills
- Comfort working independently with minimal guidance
